Tour 8 – Tour around the Kolmnock summit
Starting in Bad Kleinkirchhein at 1,021m above sea level. Via the forest road you will reach the Kaiserburg with a gorgeous panoramic view above the Nock Mountains of Carinthia. Then ride downhill to the Feldpan Alp. Via gravel roads and hiking paths you will pass a number of farms before reaching Obertweng, from where you can find your way back to Bad Kleinkirchheim.

Tour 13 – Water & Senses Path
Starting in Bad Kleinkirchheim at the Tourism Office at 1,021 m above sea level. Passing the St. Kathrein church, ride towards St. Oswald until you reach Sonnleitnhof farm. On gravel roads you will find the Water & Senses Experience Path with various stops. In St. Oswald continue riding until the “Alte Schmiede” (Old Blacksmith) and then “Alte Mühle” (old mill) in Obertleitkirchen, St. Oswald. Take the same road back via the country road to Bad Kleinkirchheim.

Duration: ca. 1 – 1.5 hours
Easy level tour
Tour 14 - around the Priedhof farm
Start in Bad Kleinkirchheim at 1,021 m above sea level. Ride towards St. Oswald and after the church continue on a gravel road until you reach the higher terminus of the Bahn Brunnach National Park cable car. Continue riding to the Oswalder Bockhütte (chalet), then follow a demanding single trail downhill until you reach the Erlacher Hütte (Erlacher chalet), passing the Petodnig chalet via St. Peter before returning via the tarmac and gravel roads to Bad Kleinkirchheim.

Altitude: 1,160 m
Duration: 5 - 6 hours
Hard level tour
Tour 24 – Places of energy at Lake Millstatt
Starting at Feld am See, at the Thurnerhof farm located at 722 m above sea level. Via gravel roads you will reach Natzel chalet, continuing towards Gschriet and turning into the field and gravel road. Continue cycling on gravel and forest roads towards Gasthaus Possegger restaurant with a fantastic view above Lake Millstatt. Here you have the option of stopping at the places of energy to re-energise for further mountain bike tours. Continue on the tarmac road via Glanz until you reach Döbriach and the wooden bridge, where you will cross to the other side of the stream. After the market place continue on gravel roads until you reach the next village. From here continue until Radentheim and then via Untertweng, returning to Feld am See.

Little technique but good stamina is essential
Tour 41 – Family mountain bike tour in the Malta valley
Starting in Gmünd at the market place in front of the mayor’s office at 745 m above sea level, ride towards Großhattenberg and then take the uphill trail via the “Saubergl”, passing Brochendorf and the Katharinen church. On gravel roads you will pass Castle Döbriach and continue towards Pflüglhof farm. Via the hanging bridge continue until the toll stop and return via the bridge, cycling along the river Malta until you reach a wooden bridge. Outside the village (signposted Malta) continue on the tarmac road slightly uphill, through the village of Treffenboden, riding straight on and return to Gmünd – passing the higher town entrance.

Medium level tour
Nock-biking - Mountain bike tours with cable car shuttle
The freedom of travelling on two wheels on this tour starts in a relaxed manner. First you and your bike are taken up on the Kaiserburgbahn cable car and the Brunnach National Park cable car. (Nockbike transport: €3 per bike) Then you have the choice of 43 very well marked, official, sign posted mountain bike trails. For both leisure bikers and mountain bike freaks.
